Oh my god !!! Noise until 3 am. Every night. Dirty room. Horrible dirty shower. Hotel "back to 1975"... but the young staff is very sympathetic. I had a problem with A/C , he came and fixed it telling me that it sometimes happens... hotel is in a little pedestrian street. A lot of noisy bars and pizzerie all around. It's 1 minute to the metro Toledo. Not expensive hotel, approximately 130€.
Pros: friendly staff, central location, and inexpensive. Unfortunately, it is around the corner from a bar whose patrons are loud well into the night, until around 3-4 AM. I also made the mistake of not locking my door properly one night (the rooms do not have automatic locks) and was awoken by a drunk hotel patron who barged into my room at 4 AM. Needless to say, this is not something I have ever experienced at any hotel.
I had a client stay here and she was not impressed. "As for the hotel…it was a number of things. It was located in the heart of the old quarter in the middle of a maze of small congested streets, full of people who were all celebrating Naples’ win of La Liguea. Normally that sort of thing is very energizing and fun to be a part of but it was overwhelming as you couldn’t get away from it. The location would normally lend character and charm to the hotel but it was tired, dark, dingy and not very clean…cobwebs everywhere. Stains on the walls and linens and I refused to take a shower as I didn’t have shoes I could get wet. The bed was old and full of springs that stuck up. It was loud and noisy. The party outside lasted until 3am…and the building did nothing to block the sound. Door locks were not very secure. The other guests were creepy. The staff was very nice and did try to accommodate but they were not equipped to answer my touristy questions. Every member of staff I met asked me if I was alone and seemed quite surprised when I confirmed that I was….which didn’t fill me with confidence. Some of that might have been cultural with views of women travelling alone but it did seem they were very surprised I would have chosen to stay at their hotel. There is no way it was worth the money I paid. I would rather have paid double for a place I felt better about staying at."
Location is good right next to a number of bars so it was a bit noisy, but I did not have any problems sleeping so it could not have been too bad...
The room was large and everything worked the way you would expect. There was a lack of electrical outlets; I like to charge my phone next to my bed but the only outlets I could find was across the room. -the plumbing is noisy, when any of the rooms around you flushes their toilet you will know...
The staff was friendly and overall I enjoyed my stay
Wow, terrible hotel. Worse one we’ve stayed in. Some was their fault (dirty bathroom walls, outdated everything, broken ceiling fan) some was not (partying in the street until 2am). The location is great which is why we booked, but I cannot recommend.
Pino is the MVP, he received me and introduced me to his wife, showed the place around and he is a very, very kind person very attentive loved him! I got a room for 1 single person, and it was very comfy. I loved to stay there. The location is very good, very close to toledo station.
One thing, there's no outlets close to bed in the room I stayed in, but that didn't affect my stay at all.
Nice hotel for a good price with good location. Could use come some renovating and it can get really loud in the night. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. Staff was also amazing and really helpful. Overall great hotel.
The location is right in the city cenrer, but it is noisy, I couldn't sleep very well and in the morning the garbage truck woke me up at 5.30. The bath towel was clean but broken, the shower space too small.
